When I first reviewed this item, I had only had it for a short time. I have owned it for over a year and enjoy it very much.
It has many features, it plays MP2, WMA and WAV. Supports music subscription services, has an expandable memory card slot, FM Radio with recording capabilities, holds photos and voice recordings also.
The screen is good sized as are the colors. The sound is amazing. I have used the headphones that came with it, and can also play it in my car with an adapter, sound great there too.
The battery life seems good, but I have had it die enough to not play music, but I was not able to shut it off completely, which was a bit odd.
**UPDATE** After a year, it still works just fine. I do not use the music subscription services, just upload from my own music. I had problems with Rhapsody being compatible. For iTunes, you have to burn to cd and then rip to the mp3 player. Never tried Napster.
The Sansa c240 is an inexpensive mp3 with good features and is easy to use.
