I never had a mp3 player in my whole life. Always wanted one, never found one that interests me. I want something with a budget price, expandable memory slot, plays WMA & mp3. I didn’t think it was too much too ask. But I searched high and low for about a year until I found this. I got mine for around $23 online, price fits my budget.

There are many functions for the Sansa,
2 GB internal memory: Filled that with about 400 songs
FM Radio: This is a good function to have, but not so useful in real life. The internal antenna must not be very good, because the radio stations are not crystal clear vs. transmission from a regular radio. But good enough for the gym when they have the TV on, and you want to hear the sounds.
Voice Recording: This is pretty niffy feature. Since Sana plugs right into your computer via USB, the voice recorded files are easy to move onto your computer. The sound qualify is decent.
Photo: I can’t figure out how to use this since I don’t want to convert the file. Plus I don’t want to waste room for pictures.
Earbuds: they are very loud for some reason. I have to turn the volume all the way done when I use the earbuds. They are decent.
MicroSD Expansion slot: still looking for a mini SD card, but this will be a good feature to have. I think I can get another 2gb through here.
Size: it’s very small and sleek, good to carry around. I put a Velcro behind mine so it’s doesn’t slip around when I use it in the car.
Playtime: suppose to get 20 hours of battery life from the rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. I never had the case where I ran out of battery in the middle of playing.

Only warning: this charges through USB, not wall charger!!
