I bought two Sansa e260's for my older sons at Christmas last year. Within 2 months, the screens on both were broken and the displays unreadable. The players are still working, but if you can't read the screen, what good are they? So here's the review:

There are a few good attributes about these players. The sound quality was good and it was easy to download music onto it from Windows Media Player.

The Sansa e260's problems are bothersome and make the machine not worth purchasing. The buttons and rotation wheel are not placed in the most advantageous positions. The buttons are located so close to the rotation wheel that when you try to rotate the wheel, the buttons get pushed inadvertently. The wheel itself, is very difficult to manipulate with a grown persons thumb. The plastic on the view screen is very delicate as it is easily scratched and if you are not VERY careful, it will crack, as it did on both of my sons players.

Concerning costumer support, they were friendly, but I received no help from them at all after several calls, and now, I am out the money I spent for these pieces of junk. I should have bought the IPods in the first place, like I did this Christmas.

Truthfully, if you want this product, which I would not recommend, you are going to need to buy a sturdy case with a screen protector and an extended warranty.
