The Rio Forge series is our latest generation of flash based sport players. The Forge was designed for people that like to play hard and use music to play even harder. The new design integrates the grippy, protective rubber from previous models with a new shiny stainless steel face plate for added durability. Up to 20 hours of battery life allow you hours of non-stop work out time. Comfortable Sport Clip earphones and a newly designed case with armband keep your player and music secure and accessible. Simple menus and intuitive controls make for easy one-handed operation. Stopwatch and Lap Timer make the Forge the ultimate gym or running companion. Minimize

Great product for active people

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Reliable, good sound, small size, expandable, and has a radio tuner. Really a great player.

Cons: The radio tuner reception isn't the best, but good enough.

Bottom Line:
It is very reliable and sounds great. I use it while training for marathons and triathlons, and it fits perfectly. I love the look too. Read More

It isn't often you get better quality than anticipated but I did with this player.

Author's Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Easy to use, lightweight, great sound, expandable, very inexpensive

Cons: May not be too durable, recording feature just average, stopwatch is ehh

Bottom Line:
For beginners, runners, and those who don't want complicated features. Excellent sound quality, super easy to use. Unsure about the durability but if it lasts six months, it's a bargain. Read More
