My experience using this product was great. I had a Song radio in my car, the XR-CA400 model, that had only the AM/FM and cassette capabilities built in, and therefore required an external CD player. It just seem like the prefect CD changer would be a Sony since the radio was a Sony.

After installation the system was booming. The CD changer responded in quick time and the anti-shock device was excellent. I cannot recall hearing the CD skip, pause or stop due to bumpy roads or potholes in the street.

My only problem with this CD player was that it could not be reset. After driving through some flood waters, the CD player got wet. The radio displayed that CD changer needs to be reset but there was no reset button on the CD changer. Even though the radio had a reset button, that button only control the radio. Since then (4 months) my CD changer has not work and no one can repair it.

By searching online i found one other person who had the same problem of the CD changer not be able to reset.
