Pros: Macro (close-up) mode, size, battery life, face-detection.
Cons: Zoom, no auto-shutdown that I know of...
The Bottom Line: I would definitely purchase this camera, especially if you're interested in macro photography!

This is a great little camera. I've owned it for about 6 months now and I honestly have very few problems with it. Overall though, there were two things that absolutely sold me on this camera when I tried it out in store.
The first was its size. The camera is definitely pocket-sized and the fact that the lens doesn't protrude from the camera was a big plus for me. As you can see, it is recessed into the camera and it doesn't protrude out when you zoom. The cover simply flips over the lens when not in use and keeps it safe.
The second was its ability to take close up pictures. The quality is AMAZING as it has an "extreme close-up" mode. I typically use my camera for eBay and the ability to show potential buyers the true status of an item is remarkable! Honestly, at the store I took the ad and put each camera on its macro (close-up) mode to take a picture of the ad at an EXTREME close-up. This camera blew every other camera out of the water, no doubt.
I have two drawbacks, however. One is the zoom. I don't use the zoom too much, as I'm either taking photographs of people or close-up photos for auctions. However, the zoom quality leaves something to be desired, in my opinion.
The second drawback is the camera's function in relation to the battery. The battery life in and of itself is GREAT, but the fact that you don't have a protruding lens (which is a pro) leads to the problem of forgetting to close the camera, which would automatically turn it off. Unfortunately, its not uncommon for me to fully charge the battery, take two or three pictures, then have the entire battery drain while it sits idle because I forgot to close the door. Call it user error, but its still annoying.
All in all, this camera is great. I spent about $300 on it and, in my opinion, its been worth every penny!
