I bought this cd player for $6 off of ebay. The bass boost is a nice feature, but the headphones that came with it cannot handle it. The earbuds are loud, but in an annoying way. The actual cd player could be louder. I've had cheap no brand name cd players that were louder. The only thing better than them are the bass boost and remote.
