Pros: Sonic excellence. Compactness. Affordability. Ease of use.
Cons: Nothing major. Some will consider the plethora of available features and settings intimidating.
Bottom Line: This theater in a box system includes virtually everything the neophyte needs to enjoy excellent home-theater sound. The wee satellite speakers--and the brawny subwoofer--are surprisingly, satisfyingly dynamic.

Pros: Great sound, affordable, attractive, proven sony speaker reliability.
Cons: Comes only in black (in case you want silver), ummm a lot of options?
Bottom Line: A superb entry into surround sound, only an expert will have cause to want more. For everyday people you can't go wrong with this very affordable, attractive, sexy system.

Pros: Big Power, Great Sound, Excellent format support, tons of options, great remote, great price.
Cons: Ummm... none, unless looks of the system are important to you.
Bottom Line: If you want surround sound, have a DVD player, and crave power and lots of features at a reasonable price, this is your system.

Pros: Excellent 5.1 sound, strong bass, feature packed reciever and quality speakers and sub.
Cons: This unit costs more in Australia (but it is value for money)
Bottom Line: Buy It! Excellent sound and feature packed reciever However shop around, I paid close to retail price even after haggling, you can get this under $1000AUD.

Pros: Great Bass and Crystal-clear sound,
Cons: Lacks bass when using Normal Surround/2-Channel modes
Bottom Line: Best bang for your bucks. You will not be disappointed!

Pros: Great price, easy to use, sounds great, a powered sub-woofer, lots of features,
Cons: not enough digital hook-ups. No A/B speaker switch.
Bottom Line: Man this is a sweet system, I do not regret the purchase one bit.
