Pros: Game Variety, Bluray,7 other processors, free online play, and an unbelievable high defenition experience.

Cons: Expensive, but have come down in price, could use more 3rd party games.

The Bottom Line: 
This console has an open network, which will allow downloadable mods for games like UT3. The currnt selection is more than adequate for any gamer.

So far I have read how it is only marginally better than the graphics put out by the other machines. This is due in part to its later release than the Xbox 360. Personally I love this console I have 22 games. Games like Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Unreal tournament 3, look stunning and pass what the 360 has been able to accomplish, it is an unreal leap from the last generation, and this model supports backwards compatibility with Playstation 2 games. The technological advantage is undeniable. If you have not been swept up in the latest trend, then you can expect to be, by this I mean High Definition. With an ever growing market of HD TV’s there will be a shift in technology, much like VHS-DVD. This evolution is continued with Bluray. To accomplish this you will need an HDMI cable which can be found for around 30 dollars. With the use of Bluray technology you have unparalleled video, which is up to 6x clearer than standard DVD. The Playstation 3 also offers motion controls, and is implemented in some games very well. These games include Heavenly Sword, and Ratchet and Clank. So if you are looking for an experience that is not centered around First Person shooters, I suggest the Playstation 3.
