I had a Rockford Fosgate 1500 watt amp with the remote bass pushing two 12 in kicker comp vrs it sounded alright but one day I turned the remote bass all the way up and the amp started smelling bad and after many attempts to turn it on and it wouldn't so after after buying this amp I had no money and a burnt Rockford Fosgate expensive and crappy amp I then set off to buy another amp having no money to buy a great amp I bought this sony xplod xm-2200gtx 1200 watts for 150.00 dollars. I hooked it up with my kickers and it sounded better than the Rockford Fosgate (1500) watt amp had ever sounded and this sony amp(1200) watts and also lets not forget way cheaper.I have had this amp for four months still no change great amp.
