Pros: SLR-like creative controls, excellent ergonomics, long battery life; fast, high-quality lens.
Cons: Weak autofocus, no split-prism for manual focus, PC card reader is slooowwwww!
Bottom Line: An excellent buy, with minor flaws. If I had $2000 I would have gotten the Olympus e-10, but at 1/4 it's price, you can't go wrong with the D700.
