Quality Pictures, Easy Viewing, Solid product

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Great Picture Quality, Good Battery Life, Good feel.

Cons: Vertical pictures won't flip (might just be me though), not the best zoom

The Bottom Line:
Easy to use, Good solid camera, Good Picture Quality

Author's Review
I received this camera as a gift this summer and I love it. The pictures are great quality, not complaints what-so-ever in this department. The battery life seems to be good, but I have the rechargable Ni-MH batteries, so they are easy to recharge/reuse. I have only recharged them about twice so far, with good use of the camera, so I would say the the battery life is at the very least acceptable if not great.

There are many features to this camera, most of which I am unfamiliar with, as I am an amateur photographer, but I have used the Black-and-White, Sepia, and Negative effects when taking some pictures.

I have a 128MB card which fits about 80 or so pictures of the highest quality, the picture size is 2048x1536
at the highest quality and about 1.4MB. The 16MB card that came with the camera only holds about 9 or so pictures at this quality setting.

The zoom isnt too spectacular, but not bad, get the P92 if you want the 3x Optical zoom.

One problem that I have had is that if you hold the camera vertical to take a picture, the camera doesnt flip the picture to the right position for viewing. So when you put the pictures on the computer, all the ones you took like that are sideways and you have to manually flip them. There may be a way to change this, but I have looked in the manual and havn't been successful yet.

All in all, I still am very satisfied with my camera, and would recommend it.
