Cons: Slow burst mode, pricey memory media (Memory Stick Duo)

Great camera for beginners to experts -- if it doesn't need to fit in your pocket. 12x zoom, image stabilization, and reasonable price are huge pluses. Read More

DSC-S70: Excellent value used if you can find it under $200.

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Great lens. Nice low-light performance. Beautiful vivid colors. Good value used. Professional-looking pictures

Cons: SLOW, but work-arounds are possible. Not a pocket-sized camera. A little heavy.

Bottom Line:
Good value if you can find the DSC-S70 for $200 or less. Consider this trade-off, though: Great pictures vs. speed, with more features on newer cameras. Read More
