The Sony's MVC-CD350 CD Mavica Digital Camera packs an array of impressive features and definitive control in a compact design. Its Super HAD CCD image sensor (3.2 effective MP) provides excellent image quality by allowing more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing noise. The 3.2X Smart Zoom (at VGA size) intelligently uses the full CCD to let you zoom into the portion of interest by cropping the image size thus avoiding image degradation. You can experience excellent viewing and image playback clarity with the 123K 2.5'' LCD monitor. Evaluating 3 separate focus areas of the frame, the camera's 3-Area Multi-Point AF can intelligently focus on the subject and displays the selected focus point. With Multi-Pattern Measuring, optimum exposure value can be established even in scenes where pronounced highlight and shadow are not centered in the frame. The camera also features AF Illuminator that helps establish a positive focus lock while briefly illuminating the subject in low or no lig Minimize

Cons: None so far

Author's Review
This is my first digital camera. I became somewhat familiar with this type from a friend and was very impressed. So, I took a chance and bought one. I've only had it a week and no complaints. I have alot to learn about it but, what I have done so far has been fairly easy to do. The quality of pictures still amazes me. And the ease of downloading the pics to my computer has made it fun to use. People I show the camera to are surprised by the disk and the number of pictures and video you can save. For a first camera I am more than happy.
