Pros: 5 Megapixels, records to mini CD-R/RW discs, Carl Zeiss lens.
Cons: Only 3x zoom, large size.
Bottom Line: This is a well designed general-purpose, consumer oriented camera. Its numerous customizable functions and features, far outweigh the only two limiting factors, namely size and the 3x zoom.

Pros: superb crispy optics, 5 meg pictures, full VGA mpeg
Cons: microphone location, programming of VGA
Bottom Line: Inexpensive and foolproof recording medium. The recording on CD-R's makes it a very flexible and safe camera. Freecom's have 210 MB and cost half the price of Sony 156 MB's.

Pros: Surprisingly easy to use. Excellent quality for the price.
Cons: I'm too lazy to use the camera to it's endless potential.
Bottom Line: Easy enough for a beginner but (my photographer mother says) definite professional quality.
