Pros: Nice Graphics, simple gameplay,
Cons: tricky player control
The Bottom Line: Borrow it, rent it (if you can do that where you are from)
Buy it if you must, but 39.99 was a bit much for me.

Full Review
This game has been slightly overhyped I think, it isn't as good overall as it could be. Some of the characters from the last games are there, but the four new playable characters from Spyro 3 are so far not to be seen. Pretty fair for a first attempt of Spyro on GBA, but hopefully the next one will be better. Overall, if you can borrow this one, do so, but I don't know if it's worth what I paid.
Gameplay: Gameplay is fair, one big problem for me is that I have to hold down two directional buttons just to go in the right direction. Pretty inconvenient, and soon you will get a sore thumb to go with the inconvenience. On the actual game however, there are lots, and I mean lots of edges. Jumping, gliding and hovering is done using the same button, and the biggest inconvenience with gameplay is the sense of perspective and direction, on one level I died at least three times just gliding (and you go back to the start of the level remember because Zoe isn't there!) because I was looking at where Spyro was and not at his shadow, which I am not used to doing.
Graphics: Believe me, the graphics aren't as good as they seem! They are a lot darker, and it is hard to see where you are going unless playing directly under a light. The graphics are pretty good if you can see them, but not as good as I was expecting. The levels are pretty good graphic wise, but nothing spectacular.
Sound: The sound I am pretty impressed with, although even in home worlds the music is kind of creepy, which takes enjoyment away. Some levels have great music, others make me dive for the volume control.
